“Where did you get that?”
About the Collaboration
That’s the question Nichole Shawn Moss (NSM) was asked again and again as she walked through her neighborhood wearing her handmade sweaters. A mom, marketer, and maker, Nichole took matters into her own hands, literally, and set out to create the pieces she couldn’t find in stores: colorful, sustainable, statement-making garments stitched with love and intention.
Together, NSF and NSM created a capsule collection of one-of-a-kind sweaters made from vintage hand-crocheted blankets. Each one a wearable tribute to the moms and grandmas who came before us.
From the Street to the Studio: A Capsule Born from Community
This wasn’t just a collab, it was a conversation.
Every piece in the NSF x NM collection is crafted from upcycled, decades-old blankets, lovingly crocheted by women of past generations. No two sweaters are alike. The warmth, the texture, the stories, they all live on in these garments.
NSF co-founder Nick Friedberg worked closely with Nichole to bring her vision to life. The result is a modern heirloom: something meant to be worn, cherished, and passed on.
Motherhood, Memory, and Making Something New
This drop isn’t about fast fashion or trends, it’s about meaning. These sweaters are a reflection of the quiet rituals and deep connections that shape our lives. They’re made with history, by hand, and with heart.
Woven into each piece is a story of motherhood, resilience, and reinvention. Designed to be worn as a celebration of who we are and who raised us.
About NSM (Nichole Shawn Moss)
Nichole Shawn Moss is the creative force behind NSM. A mother, marketer, and multi-hyphenate maker, she launched her design journey after years of being stopped on the street by women asking, “Where did you get that?” What started with one beloved sweater has since evolved into capsule collections that celebrate color, comfort, and creative expression.
